Long story short, I dropped the ball on this girl. I didn't really want to, I just had too much going on, and she lives 45 mins away. Now I'm wondering if it's possible to re-engage.

It's been almost a month since we talked. Last time I saw her, we made out (second date). She would then call me, and I'd ask her to meet up, and she always 'had plans', but she would continue to call me after she told me this. I never made any more effort to call her though, and eventually we lost touch.

So can I re-engage or is a month just too much?

just send her a text. somebody posted this in the text message game list the other day and i've been wanting to try it out: "hey i thought i saw u today but it turned out to be some mexican girl". or if you dont feel like experimenting you can just go with the old community standby "i just met your twin".

this style of message is a good idea because its just an open ended statement for her to respond to if she feels like it. it's not like sending "hey how have u been?" and getting blown off if she doesnt respond. just throw something like that out there and if she responds transition off it and have a conversation.
