But "The Game" was based on true events and actual people. I agree that Neil probably changed the story slightly to make it more compelling and a better read. But there are other people from "The Game" to corroborate at least the basis of it.

But what I'm saying is that "The Game" was not a work of fiction. The characters exist in real life, and the basic plot of it actually occurred and can be corroborated by actual witnesses. Some details may have been exaggerated or changed slightly, but the over all story was based on true events.

So I don't really see your point. Even if the book is the same as "The Game". Are you suggesting that all the puas in the book are lying to cover up an act of plagiarism? That multiple people got together, rented a mansion, ripped off some obscure book, and sold it for profit; while simultaneously reenacting the events of said plagiarized book no less, since there is photographic and video evidence of the story and a paper trail a mile long.

I don't understand.

Are you an affiliate or something for this guy's book or what's the deal? Let's say this said book is copied word for word.. who cares? How does that impact what we're going for on here in any way.

The ideas and concepts behind Mystery Method and game in general are NOT original. Almost everything every written about pua was taken in some portion, from another source. Puas blatantly say that their methods were based on ideas from other people or material. Its not a secret. Hell, half of David D's videos are about him talking about all the books he's read, he even has a recommend book list.

If I'm not mistaken, "An Actor pre-pares" dates back to world war II. Even if Mystery did rip of this obscure 60 year old book, it still seems like he deserves his money and credit for reintroducing this material in such a widespread fashion and with a new use.

I don't have to read the book. Why would I be the least bit interested in a book from 1890? You honestly think I'm going to take my time to read a 121 year old book, simply to investigate your hunch that a modern day writer plagiarized it.

My point is: So What? I don't give a shit if the entire book was plagiarized verbatim. It doesn't affect me at all. I doubt if neil strauss plagiarized it, but if he did, that's his problem not mine. I couldn't care less about a book from 1890. If you want to obsess on it, go for it! But don't expect anyone on this board to give a shit because it doesn't matter.

Well here's the thing: who gives a shit?

Every so often somebody posts about a book, whether its plagiarized, better/worse than another book, how much publicity a book gets, what women say about it on a tv show, whatever. You can say all you want that you found the real deal, but what difference does it make? Even if the book was identical, it wouldn't change the way we view game today. Are you just trying to say that game is manufactured? That all we are doing is preparing to lie to a woman in some way with the hope of sleeping with her? Well I don't, and the increase recently in the preference for confidence building and natural game over canned material and routines suggests that the details of that book are becoming obsolete. It can still be a fun read, and it will be a fun read even if it turns out somebody else wrote a similar book years before.

So, other than trying to call out a guy who has made tons of money by saying he plagiarized it from an actor, you aren't trying to accomplish anything. You haven't even raised a point other than "everybody read this." My life is the same no matter who wrote what book of PUA first, and apparently yours is the only life that needs that recognition.

Just get lost, kid.
