I'm guessing she's 25 or younger.

I don't know why, but girls these days are locked into texting mode on their phones. It gets really bad when they text while they're "talking" to you. Probably my biggest pet peeve is texting...

Prince, I have to totally agree with you. I met a couple girls who I'd call and then they'd nervously say, "let me call you back" only to vigorously text me. They were 21 and 24 respectively. It's not like they didn't like me, but instead I figured out that that's just how they felt most comfortable communicating.

So bizarre. Oh well, I guess times change. =/

Totally agree. I'm 23 but I still remember the times before this texting crap when I did talk to girls on the phone. Yeah I was nervous as hell and it was awkward sometimes but I do miss the hours of conversation you could potentially have. Talking on the phone will always beat texting. Texting is easier and more comfortable by far as I am guilty of using it too but I just think after you've talked to her in person at least a few times texting should not be neccessary.

My ex was like that, all she would want to do is text or IM but hated the phone even when I told her I hated texting. When I called her she would be all quiet and nervous/weird on the phone. In person she was shy sometimes and great at others.

I just think there are a lot of insecure girls out there just like us guys. Maybe even more of them.

I had a girl that really hated being on the phone but that was cause she was self conscious about her voice. She had some reason to be (it wasn't just that everyone thinks their voice sounds bad, hers was raspy) but it still made talking to her very awkward.

I used to talk for hours and hours with my first few girlfriends. It was always so much easier than talking to them face to face. I even learned to build sexual tension mixed in with comfort game. Worked great, face to face interactions were really sexual because of it. Either I've lost some of the talent now though or more attractive girls don't fall for it as easily.

the long conversations (assuming she's already comfortable talking on the phone) I'm sure would work on most women attractive or not but only after an established relationship. In the beginning I believe it's best to keep it short although before hearing about PUA I've had those rare occasions where I would hold a pretty interesting lengthy convo with a pretty good girl within weeks of first meeting her. I think those are the times where things just "click" and there's no awkwardness and you don't get bored of each other.

Although I'll admit, most of the chicks I had hour+ conversations with were my "friend" girls. I actually had more chick friends than guy friends before PUA I guess because I was the "nice" guy in HS despite being pretty athletic and attractive
