So i was out the other night. I got talking to this nice girl, i'd say a 7-8, after i noticed her staring a few times...I could tell she was interested as the signs were there. After talking with her for about 20 mins i had to go as it was a friends birthday.

Towards the end of the night i approached her again and continued talking for a bit. I asked for her number and she said i should contact her on facebook...This made me think she wasn't as interested as i thought.

I replied by saying well if i cant get the number i should at least get a kiss (with a cheeky smile), normally i wouldnt really say something like that, but i was a little drunk. She gave me a smile and said okay.. so i got the kiss...pulled away before her and she pulled me straight back in for the kiss which to me meant she was interested....however i didnt get the number...so i kind of feel like i partly failed aswell...

What do you guys think??

You got a kiss close, she definitely is interested, but you should make her work a little bit, send her a message on Facebook before adding her like "You haven't convinced me that I should add you as a friend on Facebook yet, (set date and time) I think you have some more convincing to do ;)" or you can add her and set a date up right away, show her you have initiative right from the start, talking less on facebook also lets you have more to say on the actual date.

i think im going to message her tomorrow. I agree about the less talking on facebook the better. Makes for a easy date, much more to talk about.
