So what are the best ways to get a phone number?
I've read that after getting the girl interested a good thing to do is to ask her out but saying that you have to go so if she wants to give you her number she can. It said that this usually makes her give it because she doesn't want to take the risk of missing out on what could be a great guy and you rushing her helps her give it.
So is there anything else?

There is a lot of ways to get her number but like you said giving her a False Time Constraint (FST) is one way by saying something like "Hey i gotta get back to my friends in a minute but...bla bla bla" so you can open a set like that or right as your going for her number say i gotta find my friends but lets keep in touch.

One really easy way i found is to mention a resteraunt and hopefully she will say somethin like oh! ive never been there and then you can follow up with give me your number and maybe i can show you this amazing restraunt. but theres literally tons of ways you can do it for tons of different situations.

Just put your phone in her hands, she has to type in her number. Simple as that.
