Actually, she isn't as stuck on him as more stuck on the idea of him. That guy's a dangerous, bad boy type who's literally giving the prisoner vibe. Some women just get pulled in by such things too hard.

You need to show her that you have an edge to your personality too. There's no type which works as consistently in pick up as "The Nice Guy with an Edge". She needs to see that even though you're generally good, there is a dark side to you. That you're a closet bad boy or something.

And of course, what Vitamin said, build enough attraction and she'll be forgetting about the ball and chain very soon.

I know a couple guys if you want a month or so in the joint to get your bad-ass cred. Girls that only go for the "bad boys" are the type who realize at 45 that they've wasted their life and now have a job as the assistant manager at the nearby Dairy Queen and three kids with four different fathers (yes you read that right) she isn't worth your time.

I'll go a different direction with this and say you need to have standards. Ex-boyfriend in jail should be a deal killer, the chick obviously has serious issues.

I would start trying to get with other women if I was you, run the other way!
