Is there a name for such creatures? I asked myself why some women do this, and the politically correct answer is, well, friendship is more than skin deep...

However, the AFC in me says this is BULLSHIT. Are these women so insecure that they hang out with not so attractive women to make themselves feel better about themselves? Does that sum it up, or am I missing something?

I've found that one of the greatest challenges in social situations is getting a HB away from a group of non-HB's. One would think that Negs would come in handy here, but I have found that not to be the case...

My ex HB10 would hang with 5's all the time. She had maybe 1 that was a 7 or 8... I think a lot has to do with the chicks personality type. Some chicks are shallow like this and do it to feel on top while others are genuine and don't do that kind of thing on purpose.

I am an ugly mofo, and proud of it, quite secure with myself...I really don't hang out with dudes based on their looks, but I do prefer/care for a good looking wing to help me out...

PokerSlot - Interesting, maybe the HB 10s or even 7-8s I've hung with are just shallow, then again, the circles I grew up in promote shallowness...I've always assumed there was an unwritten code about not hanging out with ugly people (see high school). So I don't know, would honestly like some input, I am not trolling.

I blame this on the fault rating system most employ.

5 should be average, it's a 1-10 scale. I'm about 99% sure these 10's are 6's and these 5's are 4's. The combination of guys wanting to inflate their egos by calling average to above average girls "10s" and thinking that it's somehow mean to call an uggly girl a 3 or a 4 has basically rendered the 1-10 system useless for basing practical advice off of.

Attractive women especially 7's and 8's have less attractive friends for many reasons:

a) it's not always easy to find other girls who look like them
b) social circle issues aka we tend to be friends with those we socialize with most
c) balance namely the attractive girl gets more male attention for the group (more for the un attractive ones) and the un attractive ones get rid of some of the attention for the attractive one.
d) bodyguard/rottweiler theory... aka walking, talking ugly cockblockers
etc etc

Ah men to that!! a 5, technically should be a perfectly acceptable girl to game. Average isn't ugly! Its average!


Quick thought: are the guys YOU hang out with all good looking/bad looking? Give them a break, walking into a set with that thought/mindset canny help.

Also i dont think thats 'AFC' thinking. AFC just means someone who never learnt to talk to girls.

Why must hot girls be with other hot girls? Not all hot girls gel well with other hot girls. Also as Serj said, they can be legit friends, meaning they connect on some level or have things in common.

Sorry to be a buzz kill. But the fact is the likelihood of seeing a group of hot girls together is pretty unlikely. With hot girls there is almost always ugly girls, the fact is that it is less competition and also makes them look better.
It's nothing to do with being insecure, the fact is they spend 3 hours in the bathroom, there not going to let that be undone by their best mates!

Are you even sure they are 10's - it's all about contrast... ie put a 6 or 7 with some fugly heffers and she suddenly looks alot hotter due to her ... er .. surroundings. This works both ways putting her with 9's and 10's will diminish her beauty in a group setting.
