So I've made about 40 friends on Facebook, all of them are pretty much incoming freshmen into my university. I've interacted with all these friends in some way over Facebook (we have a class of 2015 fb group with like 2000+ people) before adding them, I just didn't add them out of the blue.

There are several girls that seem pretty cute. Problem is that they all live pretty far away from me. I doubt we can arrange something since we haven't even met face-to-face.

How can I make these girls want to meet me/approach me in person? Or at least build some comfort between both of us so that they're more easily approachable during the school year?

if your meeting them on facebook I recommend getting them face to face ASAP. don't waste your time trying to build online

this. i think most girls look down on guys who try to pick them up online.

i'd recommend getting active on campus though, most particularly you should learn to LOVE the gym. most of the hot girls you will find there anyway, and a good chance for you to be seen and to be social.

I'm not trying to pick them up online. I'm trying to build some rapport so that they could be excited to meet me in person when the school year starts.

I think it totally depends, especially when it comes to a uni this is after all social networking right? many many people will start looking to meet people before they start school and this is a good tool to use.


I've found the best way to go about it is to get face to face quickly. I recommend groups meeting groups, if there's an event or something like that, get some buddies out and say "hey, me and some homies are gonna be out and about, lets meet up.

mix your group with her's and it removes some of the social awkwardness involved.
