Alright. I met this girl on POF, or Plenty of Fish for anyone who may not understand my rhetoric. We have been texting at extremely random intervals. As of recent it had been over a month since we chatted. Now, she initiated contact with me the other day. I was excited because I am legitimately interested in this girl. The thing is I can't keep her in a conversation via text. I have to 2-1, 3-1 to even get a response. She takes foreverrrrrrrrrr to even respond, even when I don't ever bother to initiate. What gives guys, and what should I do??

Ok. And do I pay for her too, and drive to her? She lives about 40 miles away.

Meet her in the middle. Paying for her depends on the girl. I definitely don't like doing it, but some girls think it's rude if you don't. Don't take her out for dinner, but if you get ice cream or something, pay then say "So you're buying the first round later." If she objects, "Hey! Guys buy hot girls drinks all the time and you're buying a hot guy one. It's karma, the universe is in balance." You can call her a sexist if you want and bring it up later as a neg.

On another aspect of your game 3-1 and 2-1 are wrong. It's DLV, that's exactly why she waits that long to give you the chance to send another text. Guys do it too, when a girl sends me a text I can even wait a full day to reply just to test. Leave it at one message next time.

When it comes to texting anything other than a 1-1 is not acceptable. Don't reply to more than one message to her message. If she takes her time, you take yours. She should be made aware of the fact that you're not hanging on her every message.

Also, meet her in person. That's usually the best way to deal with online interactions. Set up a lunch date or something.
