What's the "alpha" way of handling a girl you just met who flirts with you and you flirt back, but if you push it too far she says she just wants to be friends?

In other words a possible attention whore. Do I just cut communication? Or what would you guys do.

ask her to come over to your house, friend zone is just a false barrier, grow some balls, make out with her without permission

if she flakes freeze her out and you are friend zoned

Make your intentions clear to her. Tell her in as many words, you are attracted to her.

If she doesn't feel that and way and "wants to be friends" tell her that there is no friendship between men and women, inevitably someone or the other develops something more. And then, maintain a formal distance with her.
