I'm in the same place, when I was younger and in better shape talking to girls was easy. After getting injured and packing on the weight the confidence and self esteem started to fade away.

I think the best solution to gain back your confidence and self esteem is working out and getting fit.

Well, what works for me is, set a goal in the future and undertake action towards the goal. It doesn't really matter what it is, but the feeling of doing something that gets you in the direction of something you want is great.

Also, sports! Like if you run 5 miles (7km) and your done, you'll feel really good, physically but also mentally. Try this a couple of times per week. It's a good tip.

for the confidence part: I've gotten a lot of confidence in reading the PUA materials in books. I get confidence out of "improving myself" which is a goal i've set for me, and it works out great. I'm happy and alive.

Try it:)

Dear dude;

The thing is you can't fake confidence. If it was me personally I would say:

Keep healthy, stop drinking smoking or eating like a pig,
Re-evaluate your peer group,
Make sure you make enoguh $ to feel o right,
Watch Matt Hussey masterpickupartistuniversity.com videos,

Remember life IS a rough fuckin battle field, if you don't fuck it, it fucks you, every minute of every hour of every day.

:lol:

Yeah, I'd make 'building confidence' a goal. And like the movie "what about bob?' baby steps. Keep it simple and concise. Make a month goal, three month goal, six month goal,... Have three check point to gauge your progress. Reward yourself for the work done, and don't start viewing the world as a battlefield, because it may become a self-fulfilling prophecy! :wink:
