So at one point or another you might encounter a girl who knows about the community or knows and acknowledge one of your openers.

Well I've never had this happen to me but my gut instinct says this would be a DLV, I'm sure if you can fend it off well it wouldn't effect the pick-up too much though. That's half the reason I try and come up with my own material.

Yes, for me there is a paranoia using the very popular openers.
But what about beyond just the routines.

Say she came over and saw some books, or saw your computer with this site open.

We could play it off, but there would be a very big change in the dynamics.

Actually now that I think about it I took a girl home once and she saw my computer. I used to put notes as my wallpaper to remind me of stuff and I had some PUA notes up there. She saw it and I just said "ignore that", she didn't say anything, and I still F-closed her.

I'm gonna vote good, cos I'm just a normal guy and it wouldn't affect me lol. I don't use any of the pua stuff, I just say what I feel like and build stuff up the way I want to. You'd probably only get called out if you used really obvious and stupid stuff like false time constraints, opinion openers etc... most guys would be quick to say that it's not good for the new guys, but if you think about it, it'll actually make them focus more on being themselves instead of relying on all the pretentious crap which is actually counter productive in practise.

To be fair everybody has to start somewhere and it gives them something to go on, gives them a bit of confidence and an idea of what to say... but the delivery of that stuff is so awkward and forced, really unnatural... people just don't speak like that so it doesn't do them any favours in reality. I wholeheartedly vote that this is a good thing, on the grounds that it'll get guys to focus on their real issues and be able to do things their own way instead of churning out a bunch of rehearsed gibberish that makes them come across as creepy and weird.

this has fucked me over before and has also been a plus,

one time i was gaming this girl for a few days, we were basicly about to f-close, and she was going to cheat on her BF, but she noticed my storys all seemed to have DHV spikes, she allready new about the community, but i don't really use routines that are not personalized to me, and my DHV storys are all real life storys from my life, she called me out on it as she had a friend who was a PUA, i admitted it that i was into PUA, she then just flaked me off, and didn't continue seeing me,

on the other hand, one time I was gaming a girl, and one of my friends had a big interest in this girl, so he tryed to fuck me over by telling her i was into the whole PUA scene and all i wanted was to get in her pants and i was a big manipulator etc., so she called me out on it, and i explained some principles of it and reframed myself, and got the f-close and it probably actually helped me, cause the girl realized how insecure and reactive my friend was being about me getting with her so she got with me

all in all 3 experiences with girls knowing, 2 bad, one good, i think girls really don't care as long as they don't feel your trying to manipulate them into something that isn't genuine

Im not sure how big the PUA thing is in other areas of the world but here in britain it seems to be either very small or very subtle, which is good if using canned openers and copying material.

I dont copy material very ofter (use my own openers etc) so think the chance of any girls of even blokes knowing whats going on is very small. Ive asked loads of mates about PUA things and non of them had heard of it at all, only one girl knew about it after reading the game but still got moist in an instant when i used the cube on her!

I think the key is to modify any routines used regularly by other PUAs so that even if a girl does know about it you could play dumb about it.

This site has helped me a fair bit and books wise ive only read the game but i dont rely purely on there methods to pull, to be honest i think it would be kind of cool to chat properly to a girl about it all.
