i was at a friends house and i offered his sisters friend a lift home as
she was leaving to we been talking and getting pretty close but she seemed abit
nervous and declined.

A few days later she hasn't spoke to me but she was asking my friend about me, should i start talking to her or just leave it for abit?

Dont leave anything for later, it is your job to make it things look and be natural. Most women dont know how to handle things. 99% of girls are AFCs, act natural, relax, confident and approach her today.

Nothing has to be a big deal, nothing is a big deal, ALWAYS remember that.

you should still talk to women even when it feels awkward.. as long as you took a shower and you have good breath, keep talking to them. you are new at talking to women and the more you talk to them the better you get at it bro
