ok here is how it goes, from what i have read, you had attraction for sure and you did not make anything of it, she made it obvious, when she had probable deniablility (she was drunk) she admitted more or less she wanted to have sex, you should try being more direct and honest, how you feel is what you should say, you want to have sex with her, send her a text, say hey you should come over to my house today for some sex, allways stick to what you say no matter how they respond, take responsability for what you want and go for it, you seriously have nothing to lose, holding on the nothing is not gaining anything, try being honest and persistant, the ball is allways in your court, your done when she won't speak to you anymore

biggus - when you say 'if you haven't gotten anywhere by now', i maybe didn't explain that i've only met her the once due to the fact we've both been quite busy with holidays etc.. i know it's been a good 3 months, but I think i'm an alright judge of character, and if I was thaaaat far into the friend zone, would she really travel to come watch the film with me?

pumpington - i couldn't see that working with her mate, she's not a slag like i say, and she's only slept with her ex.. who she was with for months. I think if i built enough rapport with her over a few dates then I could get somewhere.

Exhibit B : She knows you're shitting her. A lot of guys think that playing it this way is ''cool'' and ''DHV'' and all that. For a woman, she's just feeling awkward about your bragging about fictional women. Think a little from her perspective before you hit the send button.

Exhibit C : Once again, she already knows that there aren't any women in front of your house, why compare her to them? And also, why tell her you'd rate your imaginary friends higher than her? No one likes being told that there are people better than them, well at least not in the last message. That's what you left her with.

As much as I appreciate your analysis Don, the 3 points you picked up on were genuinely all sarcastic.. the sort of conversations we usually have are based on cheesy comments such as those you mentioned.

For example the text speak used in the comment sort of indicates the jokingness behind what I said. I probably shouldn't of pasted the conversation as admittedly it's slightly misleading.

Oh, and her's isn't one of the 4 numbers I have, hence I couldn't text her!

Well in my opinion tonight was a success!

We went to watch Harry Potter as planned, then as I drove back to mine I asked her if she wanted to come inside for a bit, she agreed she would and we had a drink (non-alcoholic) and watched TV for about 3 hours. During which I gave her a massage and was basically just stroking her arms and shit, she was quite responsive.

Then as she left to drive home we hugged and kissed for a while. I offered for her to stay but she said her parents would worry if she wasn't back, and she couldn't text them as they were asleep.

I can see this going somewhere, but I genuinely think in this case, with this sort of girl, saying "i want to have sex with you" will creep her out more than anything. I'll get it if I approach it slowly I reckon.
