I went out with some girls I work with for one of their birthdays, and snagged the birthday girl's friends number when we were at the bar. A few days later I texted her and set up some time for us to get dessert. Turns out I ended up having to stay super late at work that day and had to cancel. She said it was ok if we recheduled, and I said I would make it up to her.
Going to just wait a day or two and call her back with a new time. Just wondering if I should stick with my same plan, step it up a little or what? Any Suggestions?
Also....she gave me her number, and she said yes when i asked her out. Why the hell do I still feel nervous?

I'd also shoot her a text a few hours before saying something like "running 5 min late, hope that's still cool." That gives her the chance to flake without "flaking" and it also reaffirms that you're showing up this time so she can get a little more comfortable.
