Given that I'm about 9-10 years older than she is, and she's 18, I'm not sure if meeting at a bar for drinks is the best first date.

What do 18 year olds like doing?

i can't imagine doing anything with an 18 year old when i was 28.

that's just me.

i'm not saying it's "wrong".

hell, it's legal and probably great in the sack.

but goddamn, all girls that age are basically mentally still kids.

could take her to the water park, i suppose.

go for "the mommy"

mommy already knows how to fuck, you won't even have to teach her.

It's a trade-off though.

Younger = have to teach
Older = more baggage

It would be a good idea to take the lead. You're in a very authorative (sp?) position you might not fully realize. She's putty in your hands, and showing her you're a man that does shit and leads is the way to go. Dont totally fixate on things "she" wants to do until after meeting up a few times anyway. Why not enjoy the ride? :)
