Hey its been a while since ive made a post an my game has definitely suffered. Over the last few months ive been playing alor of poker as ive been winning a decent amount but my game has suffered and I realised it tonite.

I started talikin to a group of 3 girls in a club an an one of them suggested If I hook up with my friend will you buy us drinks? My answer was shit and straight after I thought of many things I shud have said.

Im going to stop playing so much poker now and start gaming again

First off, I assume hook up means sex but it sounds more like making out. Was she offering to make out with you, or another one of the girls?

I'd just say "nope." If a girl is willing to offer even a kiss for a drink, who knows how many other guys she'll kiss for little to no reason. Hell, I may just say "good question" and start talking to one of the other girls. I don't deal in easy girls, but that's just me.

Thanks guys ive realised now what i said actually wasnt bad I fuked up after cos I didnt frame it right. What I said was "yeah but u guys are probably lesbians " If I was on my game I could sexually framed it to my advantage. No more poker giving it up for a while its affected my game too much !

When a girl asks a question like that come back hard if your in a club and theyre hot, say something like " your so adorable when you want to show off how about we make a bet.." from there go into a routine to get a drink like the rod or hammer or 1 to 10, and if they win you can always buy them a water . Dude, you really need to balance things out.

I play poker for a living, but I can still manage gaming while I'm out with friends. A year ago or so, I also came to a point where I played way too much, to such an extend it started to consume time from other things I enjoyed doing.

Now I make a weekly schedule for how I'm going to spend my time in that week. I go out for a jog of 5km 3 times a week, I go out 2 times a week and take driving lessons three times a week. I am also a freelance graphic designer, for this I usually spend one evening to work on various assignments each week. This leaves me enough time to play poker, but also maintain my social contacts and even maintain my game while going out.

On nights I work behind my pc, I visit various forums regularly and try to pick up new information that can improve me as a person. I not only do this for pick-up, but also for my poker, for a healthy diet and for graphic design. It is possible to do multiple stuff simultaneously, as long as you have a good schedule and are disciplined enough to stick to it and are driven to constantly keep improving yourself. I think that last sentence applies to a lot of things in life!

I wish I could do that lol. at the moment I am still studying but my grades have dropped badly so for now I am not going to play. Another thing I haven't had a proper job in about 4months so that has been weighing on my mind. my parents don't know I play poker which makes it alot harder to set a schedule also a bit stressful at times when I'm about to cash big in a tourny then have to help my dad. I think once I can get into a good routine with everything else I may one day play again. I've also got an online business which takes a bit of time . my games already getting better again made a post in sticky points just missd out on the fclose
