What follows is a little experiment. Not all that big, but very amusing anyway. there is a little background to it.
About three years ago, i met this girl. Well actually, she met me, cause i stepped up to her and her female friend and i said: excuse me for the interrupt. (got both their attention). I turned to the girl this story is about and i said: hey, i think you are sexy as hell. Lets meets again so we can get to know each other better.
She asks me if i am drunk, i wanst. Her friend tells me that i cant be so direct, i told her that it is just the way i am . So her friend leaves, we start to talk. As busy as she is, we only get to meet once, still, she texts every once and a while to keep in touch. Eventually, due to trips and traveling, all contact is lost.
About the Christmas period of last year, I suddenly get a new facebook friend request. if it wasnt for the mail i wouldnt even have noticed it. It was her, asking if i still remember her. Ofc i do. Lots of texting just to meet up, very hard to meet up, due to work. Since then i think i bailed twice already, which is a shame, but when duty calls, you better answer the freaking phone.
Anyways, yesterday, party time. Got a text from her, wondering if i am present. I was, so finally we met up. Now, i have a rancid mouth, i shit test people all the time, bust them, making jokes, being a joker.
But all of you remember those bullies from school, those true bad boy types, who try to make fun with all they see, big mouth (and mostly not that much balls to back up the words). Well, the entire freaking bully team from highschool was there as well, and it seems they know each other. When i was 17, i had a fist fight with one of those dudes. it was obvious they liked the woman in her
.
So i thought: hell, what if would be some kind of unsocial party pooper, just smile, but dont dance and no fun. Just be quiet, drink your drink. would she still come up to me and talk, would she try to pull me in into the party or would she go for the bad boy types who were demonstrating how much fun they are by even freakier dancing and acting like idiots?
So i entered, i walked straight up to her, grabbed her ass, kissed hello and told her how smoking hot she looked this evening (she really looked sexy btw). then i step back, order my drink and just watched. Every once and a while, she comes over to just start small talk, trying to start conversation. i played it cruel, just giving the yes/no and a smile every once and a while. The other dudes initiated contact with her, quite touchy, but i noticed that she is not really touching them back the way she does with me. And some of those guys really have great looks actually. This goes on for a couple of hours, untill i really was tired and decided to leave and go to bed. So i walk up to her, tell her i am tired. Now she pulls me close, wraps her arm around my middle and cheekkiss me goodbye while sqeeshing me tight to her. She wouldnt let go, until she whispered in my ear: it was good to see you again. So i told her the same, and that we really need to work finding a date to do something together.
For me, this told me the following: Acting like a badboy but not having the balls to back you up is worth nothing. The effect of direct is a long lasting one.
