Ok I'm as blind as a bat so need to wear glasses. My glasses are sorta trendy without looking too nerdy.

Whenever I go out in the evening I wear contacts but I like to give my eyes a rest during the day time cos I find it unhealthy to always wear contacts.

I know if you have a good game, you can dress like a clown and still pull but I'm not at that level.

Personally I find girls with glasses also cute but as a guy do I stand a better chance without glasses or is it all about the patter?

I thought the whole nerdy glasses trend was still going? You know the clear Ray Ban Wayfarer's? Why don't you try them, girls love them where I live. Guys who don't need to wear glasses even wear them.

glasses or no glasses, is no issue

It is all about showing DHV/self-confidence/not-needy

as a fellow four-eyes since I was ten years old, it's easy to give a knee-jerk answer that it is always best to not have glasses.

Afterall other than putting on a red cape, what was the only thing Clark Kent did to turn from nerdy newspaper boy into the man of steel? - he took off his glasses.

In "The New Rules of the Game," Style recommends Lasic or contacts unless a stylish pair of glasses accentuates a particular specific style you are wanting to achieve. I think that is good advice.

Natural is always better but if you are shooting for a specific syle and the glasses are congruent with that, then they are probably OK.

The girls I'm going for are around 19-25. The style I've got going is sporty, casual.

I can't do the whole nerd chic thing. However there's a part of me that says that I need to embrace my specs and prove to myself that this isn't a handicap..

If you wanna go glasses, get good frames.

If you wanna go contacts try coloured ones. Coloured ones make you stand out.

either get stylish frames and make them part of your "look," or wear contacts / get surgery.
