Hi everyone, allow me to quickly introduce myself and tell you why I'm here.
I'm a 22 year old university student. I have zero experience with women. I want to learn to attract the kinds of girls that I'm interested in.
A few months ago I went to talk to a sweet looking girl at the local library. I drew up a plan that involved showing off my drawing talents. The first part of the plan was to give her a drawing that was supposed to convey beauty. So I went up to her and gave her the drawing. She said "that's really cool" or something along that line. I asked for her name and she said "Hayden". She then asked for mine and shook my hand (she was the one who put out her hand first). She also smiled. I should've done something right at that moment. However, like an idiot, I said goodbye and then left. The day after, I asked to get some coffee and she said "sorry I don't date guys at the library".
See, the plan was for her to absorb the drawing and see the meaning behind it and maybe grow an interest in me. Obviously, it didn't work.
There's something about this girl that makes me keep thinking about her.
The question is: Is there any chance of it working if I went to talk to her? If there is, then how should I approach this situation?

well that would be very foolish of you, the moment you go n talk to her then ur basically asking for a fz (needy guy category).

If I were you i'd just back off for a couple weeks, then come in and open with a normal bar opener (non aggressive, e.g. that's a nice watch), followed by some fluff, transition into feelings n emotional bulls**t, close with either her number or an informal meeting of some kind (coffee?). Once you get her out of the library environment then it should be easier to approach and ONS.

I know I totally belong in the needy guy category but I'm rather straightforward. If I
have a feeling towards a girl, I usually just let it out. There was a girl in high school that I liked and I creeped the hell out of her too, because of my straightforwardness.
