Approaching/Opening to a group

Alright, so ive been goin to a couple bars n clubs lately, and I've found it hard to open and introduce myself in a group situation, ive always just been hitting up the lone ones. Can anybody tell me how to approach and open to a group?

Don't bother. Simply take her by the shoulder gently, spin her so she's facing you, deliver a direct opener, and continue.

thanks, will try that tomorrow, although im usually the type for subtle openers, e.g. sorry, i was over on the other side of the room and i cant help but notice that you have remarkable eyes. etc. etc.

never tried an aggressive opener, as i dont really have the confidence or flair to pull one of those off
