I'm still relatively new to all of this and haven't bought any books or anything yet, so I'm just wondering what step to take first.
One thing that initially put me off learning about pick up artistry was my perception that you had to be confident before learning anything. But this guy seems to be teaching how to be confident as well. Just my take - maybe I'm wrong.
Maybe I should just read lots of different books and material and see what's best for me? What material were you first drawn to?

Theres no book out there thats going to give you confidence. It may give you a short lived motivation but all that slowly fades away when its crunch time.
You have to step out there and approach and risk looking like a total idiot. Walk the streets singing. Dance to your ipod publicly... Do things to show you don't care who see you or what they think.

I'm finding myself nodding at a lot of the stuff I'm reading - saying into myself ''I am that idiot.'' Then realising there is a way forward. So maybe it could be a psychological lift if nothing else. Perhaps I'm supposed to think that. But hey, I'm willing to try anything. It's better than doing nothing.

There is a similar type of book to the one I was looking for called How to Become an Alpha Male by John Alexander. I haven't heard of him but he's sold a lot of books it seems. Is he similar to Xuma?

I'd do stuff like walk up to girls with a huge piece of lettuce in my mouth and start telling a story, or walk up with my fly down and when I notice it's down pretend that it's stuck.
I almost got addicted to this way of approaching and it worked surprisingly well too! After that going up and having a chat seemed easy and mundane. _________________ It came to me in a drreeeaaammmm
