I fly to Europe at least once a week. During these 1 hour flights sometimes I'd find myself next to some seriously hot girls but am at a loss on how to game them.

My openers tend to be situational but then the conversation very quickly dies. Cos we're in an enclosed space for 1 hour, I can't use time constraints. Therefore I don't wanna come across as that irritating bloke on the plane.

Any tips on how to open and keep the conversation smoothly flowing with someone you're sat next to for over an hour??

Not sure if it works for just a one-hour flight, but I've had luck dealing with the question of people who sleep on planes and accidentally lean on the shoulder of the stranger sitting next to them.

So you can break the ice by talking about one funny instance where this happened to you. And then you ask her whether she's one of these people who's going to be drooling on your shoulder after a half-hour. Playful teasing, etc.

An even more aggressive move is to pretend like you're falling asleep on her shoulder, only to see if she passed the "test."

Of course, this only works if she's sitting next to you. I was lucky enough to have a model sitting next to me for a cross-country flight to L.A., and she spent half of it sleeping on my shoulder. Of course, I effed it up in the airport... But even that's a funny story if you want to borrow it. "I had this model next to me, which is cool, but she was drooling on my shoulder... it was horrible."

For use with chicks who have English as a second language.
Buy a whole bunch of foreign language dictionaries and take them in your carry on luggage. Then when you have a HB sitting with you ask for her help in learning some of the basics of the language. Its good fun and she will be glad to help. Some of the phrase books, i forget which brand, have different sections like romance, food, travel etc. After youve got it started switch to the romance section and then playfully use some of the dodgey pickup lines that are listed in her language-she'll love it.

I dont actually have a whole lot to contribute to this forum, im mostly a spectator but this I know is gold.

Just act natural... let your curiosity help you to engage her in conversation, and don't seem desperate for her attention. Tell her some funny stories about your past airline experiences. Itz better to converse with an interesting stranger then to sit there bored.

What about the air plan that makes it so different then any of the other spots you sarge at?

Well maybe I am getting ahead of myself but how are you about approaching women in a different location, maybe a location that you are comfortable in? This is where we shall start

I think the difference is on a plane, you are stuck on the plane, you can not eject and get out of there should things go tits up.

I'm pretty sure that's what the emergency exits are for. It's why I always make sure I've got a parachute in my carry-on.
