late first generation here

i can remember when the "cutting edge" of dating advice was david deangelo and cocky funny humour!

i can remember when i found out about structured indirect game and was like :O this is awesome lol!

its funny how things evolve over time, and how i became more natural around a year ago and now the game swings to natural game now, wonder where the heck it will go next?

As a new member, which I think makes me 4th gen, to both the community and the forum, I found that post to be inspiring. It not only spurred me on (yes in that moment) to soak up all this forum (and lifestyle) has to offer, it also made me feel welcome.

Thank you xfman for those words of encouragement.

I'm probably considered part of the third gen, but I seriously disagree with Style being the father of the 2nd gen. I don't think Mystery gets enough credit for what he has done. Seriously. Most of today's major players learned either directly or indirectly from Mystery. Even Style, Tyler Durden, and David D. So, he was a bigger influence right after Ross Jeffries than any other one person. Sure, Neil brought a lot of attention to the game with his book, but even at that time, Mystery was the man to be. It's only been lately that Style has come out with his own school and his own stuff. Now, we have Mystery doing his own thing and Style doing his own thing along with the other gurus doing their own thing. So now, I don't think there's one "father", but many.

Of course there are many Fathers, and maybe we can go on: who did what and when. It will be great to have a time line of who came first and all that but I don't see a big point. The purpose of this post is not to say who went first and who is the father of what generation, etc... The intention of this post is to make people realize that even tho we are from different Generations we can be together in a forum and learn from each other.

I also wanted to make a sort of advice on what might come next and a quick story on the changes this community had. We all know Mystery was the Father of Style, but in my opinion Style is the father of the Generation because he gave the tools (The Game) for normal guys to join and find the community.

I don't want to argue who is the best and who is the father, maybe we all have different thoughts about it.

I found more important that we can Help each other and we can be together as a quality community in this time of changes.

Success, XF.

i would consider myself a 1.5 generation, i joined the game after the GAME was published, but started with xuma, john alexander, and speed seduction. I didn't start ASF-style pickup until after i read the game

I agree with you Tripp that Mystery does deserve more credit than he is given, but I think ultimitly it does go back to Style, because his publications brought PU into modern, mainstream society. infact you could even argue that the 3rd gen wouldnt be around if it werent for The game being published.

Pesonally, i think i am closer to second gen. Although I knew about the community before i read The Game, or had heard of it at least, i didnt become involved until after i read it. and im not really sure when it was published, so i cant really say i knew about it before it came out. so ya, i guess im second gen.

Uh, I could describe myself, folowing these options, as a O gen (natural) upgraded with 2 gen learnings. The Game didn`t help me to get more chicks cause I always had lots of great girls in my life, but the comunitty made me realise why some things works and which mechanisms they start in female brain.

Anyway, great post Xfman!

I know hahaha... (this is from oct 1, 2007  )

There is a lot of talking about the new generations... and I want Locke to check it out.

I'm guilty of bringing this back up... but I really hate when someone gives an advice in a 2 years old thread... anyway I'm sorry...

I give myself a warning
