I was talking to one of my friends (She is a girl) and she totally thinks i blew a opportunity. I been talking to this girl a little in my bio class. We just had the final last monday. I started talking to her after the final on facebook and here is the conversation

We talked a little after this but the other stuff inst relevant. Looking back on it i think i totally screwed up a opportunity to hang out with her. When she said she is bored i should of asked her to hang out. I was interested in her and i think she might of been interested in me. I really aint happy i screwed this up. But i have to get over it and learn from my mistake. What do you guys think?

Just be audacious, take phrases like "If I say something clever (or in this case 'that works), I mean it, if I say something stupid, it was obviously a joke" as a rule of thumb - this sort of thinking with guarantee you're not scared to ask her to hang out as soon even the slightest sign presents itself.

Well, strike first next time, a good idea would have been after she asked what are you up to(IOI) you should have said "Nothin' amazing, just goin' to grab a bite to eat. You can come if you really want to." What happens there is you have a previously made plan that is unaffected by her, and you didn't say you wanted her to come, you just said that if she wanted to she could join you, your uninterested! Works wonders.

Theres a ton of things that could've been worse than not asking someone out over facebook. And like the other guy pointed out, you already had plans anyways man. Don't lose sleep because you possibly (keyword: possibly) missed an opportunity to grab lunch with some girl. Do you not have number? Phone trumps facebook.
