Asking her out in a group?

I've never been good at isolating a girl friend her friends at all.
So instead, I usually go direct to her with the group there too. The interaction goes great, but then it's time I tell her that I'm going to take her blehbleh (i never ask, I usually tell). Is it a bad idea to do this in front of her friends?

Well u got the line ''Girls can i borrow ur friend for a sec?''

This line needs comfort with her friends.

Never tried it though. I usually stand just right infront of her with my back to her friends (during midgame) and then make my way to the K-close. I never had a situation in wich i had to isolate a girl far away from her friends.
