last saturday there was a halloween party at one of the clubs i usually go to. so i went with one of my female friends. some people were in costumes, some werent (i wasnt). my friend and i were against the wall having a drink after dancing, and im just watching all the people walk past, looking at their costumes. by this time im kinda drunk, and one HB 8-9 walks past and i kinda stared at her (if i wasnt drunk, i wouldnt have stared lol) while she walks past (without even noticing me of course) her friend behind her looks at me and says "NO!". wtf...i didnt even try approaching them or anything. i was so pissed off cause that night had been sucking already, so as drunk as i was i just said "fuck off" as she walked away. what could i have done in a situation like that to look better or even turn it around into a pickup?

First, standing against the wall is not a good idea - it looks AFC.
Second, dont get drunk. you thought u stared for 2 seconds, probably stared for closer to 10 seconds.

Sounds like woman on a power trip to me. Its there way of saying "i'm too good for you and i know it" or better yet "im too good for you and she just thinks that"(but in reality shes just egotistical)

And i gotta agree about not being a wallflower, theres a reason the clubbing community calls that line of guys against the wall "deathrow"

you dont understand, its either drink your drink on the ledge against the wall or try to drink it in the middle of where everyone is walking. its shoulder-to-shoulder in the walkway. btw i wasnt so drunk that i had no conception of time...i stared at her as she walked past. it did not take near 10 seconds for her to walk past lol. i dont see a problem with being comfortable against the wall, talking to a friend...there are stools there so u can sit and drink

i dont really care if i was being "afc" anyway, i was just wondering what a good comeback to that would be. in this area it seems a lot of chicks go out together just for the satisfaction of rejecting guys. and its not just me, i see other guys getting the same

im not ugly or creepy looking either! lol

I would have looked her friend (the one that said no) up and down and said, "You're right, definitely not."

Some girls are just bitches, nothing to get worked up over.

Definitely use that man.

Also, whether you agree/believe this or not, you were being an AFC by being against the wall, regardless of how many other guys were there or how packed the walkway and floor was. That's just how it is in that environment.

If HB's see a wallflower looking lustfully at them, their bitch shield will automatically go up. Hell, it even goes up for guys out in the middle of the club that know what their doing.

I've had girls pull their friends from me while dancing, so I've looked at those girls and said "thanks, I didn't want her here anyway". The girl doing the pulling gives you this strange look then, as if saying "I can't believe you just said that".

But man, get away from the wall. Get into the crowd. Don't stare, but do maintain eye contact.

Yes, she was probably saying NO to tell you that you didn't have a chance.
