Hello everyone!

My name is Mike, I live in NJ, go to Rutgers University, and will be spending the next ten weeks of the summer in Manhattan for an internship.

I'm 21 years old, and need a lot of work in getting this whole "women" area of my life handled. I started reading David D's stuff three or four years ago, but never put it to much use. However, just having exposure to this information was still very helpful. For the past few years, I sort of recognized a need to learn this stuff, but never put any effort into it. This past semester at school I decided I really just couldn't sit on the sidelines anymore. I've been reading tons and tons of info, and giving myself information overload. Now its time to start putting it all into practice, and that's why I'm here.

I definitely saw huge improvements during the semester within my social circle, but I really want to get good at cold approaching. I am the type of person who is incredibly sociable...but only in certain contexts. I guess i was shamed into thinking sex is a taboo thing when I was younger, and now have a lot of programming to undue. It is painful even thinking about approaching women I have never met. But that's what I'm gonna have to do of course, so what better time to start than now?

I look forward to the rest of this journey...its going to be painful but everyone here has gone through it. That's why I'm here....more for moral support than for information.
