it is ... in my reality ;)

hey, you never explained the puppies. come on, that's weird, right?
i guess i was just expecting him to nod and say hi when we see each other but not this.
is the puppies thing about sex too? puppies....sexxaay... i think i might jump into bed immediately now.
puppies?, i missed the puppies damnit ! well this is what happens if you date retards ... lol no ..... i think he just wants to tell you ''it's ok''' so he sends out a neutral message with puppies ..... or... he just wants sex and has a retarded way of trying openers on you.
o yeah and be sure to jump in my bed, we could be talking about puppies all night... imagine that!!

should i ask him to do something with me? not sure when i would get a chance to have the mature discussion.
tell him you are smoking a sig and ask him to tag along, ask him to help you with something, be creative.
don't do something with him because it could turn awkward and then you are stuck at a bar in a uncomfortable situation.

If you are really stubborn like most woman and you decide to do something go to movies - so you can break of the conversation when it turns awkard and focus on the movie.
Quote:
I just want to do the right thing here that's all!
do what you think is right for you ! .. there is no such thing as ''the right '' thing. i think the situation will solve itself now.
Quote:
i was beginining to think it was a COMMON thing for a guy to say...
like i said ... if i wouldn't want a relationship and i would like to sex only, and we are stopping at a handjob - i would make you dinner watch movie and still have a fun night... it's no big deal. There are enough guys like me who don't make a big deal out of it ... and for the record ... im a relationship guy even tho i like to pickup woman , if this proves the same point.
next time i'll pick a cool guy like you. basically you're saying you don't go out feeling like you are owed sex just for taking a girl to dinner. and you don't have expectations. that's cool.

btw i already told him i'm not interested in sleeping with him, if that's what he's after. :-)

Look, you don't sound too whacky but you've got that calculative pain in the ass personality; you've already admitted to this. So why the big fuss over a guy who's expressed a negative opinion for what you already know? There's a lot of BS in this forum because most kids here are more confused than you are. A guy doesn't go into a fuck fuck situation thinking, "I'll turn this into a relationship or a friends with benefits, or ONS, etc . . ." - Are you guys kidding or what? Christ, I'm laughing here reading at some of your bullshit.

Most of the desperate, horny bastards here probably couldn't calculate 3+4 in a fuck fuck situation. All they're looking to do is to find the shortest distance/time for their penis to enter a wet, warm orifice and that's all . . Now what happens when a calculative pain in the ass starts winding this shit up to leverage her vagina like a downtown crack whore? Sure, there is some disappointment here. Calliejay, You're going to see several more standard replies in your dating career so I'll offer you some interpretations now:

1. Stops everything and remarks, "Hey, that's a neat laptop you've got." = "You're a pain in the ass but I've read on the internet that I should freeze you out."

2. "I'll do all this CRAP for you anyways. . " = "You're a pain in the ass but I've read on the Internet that being non-reactive is Gung Ho PU." (By the way guys, non-reactive does not equal being a total douche bag.)

3. Pull his hand back slightly, "Everything OK down there?" - Then act slightly grossed out and get out of there with a solid excuse. = "You're a pain in the ass but my manipulation skills are better than yours." (There will be none of this bs on the second day)

4. "Alright, we'll just cuddle and make out." = "You're a pain in the ass and I'm a dweeb. Wanna watch me harp like a seal?"

5. "We shouldn't have done this." = "You're a pain in the ass."

So there we have it. The horny guys here won't admit that they think you're a pain in the ass because they're habitual ass kissers. The two guys you were with thought you were a pain in the ass. I think you're a pain in the ass. The good news is that you will eventually find yourself a dweeb who thinks you're a pain in the ass BUT will still go along with your every whim. Good luck and have fun!

Kasabi, you're too late. this case is closed. I already told him i'm not interested. And I am not a pain in the ass for not wanting to sleep with someone. If that is what you tell yourself whenever a girl says no to you, whatever floats your boat, but i just think it's unfair that we're a "pain in the ass" just for not spreading our legs when a guy says so. I also don't see how I am "calculative". Do you mind elaborating on how you came to that conclusion? Just because I am asking how to deal with the inevitable awkwardness after this bizarre turn of events? that makes me calculative? because I am not interested in doing anything further with this guy? that makes me calculative? I know you men have concocted a lot of stories to tell yourselves when a woman rejects you, because your ego is tied to your sexuality, including saying there is something wrong with the woman. but in your case, you needn't insult me with baseless accusations because you weren't even the one i didnt have sex with.

the bottom line is, i got my answer. i believe i handled it in a mature manner. we have yet to see if things will be cool between us. i hope they are, and i wish this guy the best in his conquests. just read back through the posts...it will be clear that i just thought this guy was a little weird. I have a lot of evidence suggesting that this guy does NOT think i am a "pain in the ass" but it really doesn't matter. It's water under the bridge

the last thing the guy told me is that we know each other better and it might make for a better friendship. so it sounds like he's not too upset or thinking i'm a pain.

and btw, the other guy who said that, back in the day,.....we actually had sex before he said it, and i wasn't too resistant. so the fact that i had 2 people tell me this in my life, was too strange for me that i just had to ask. ok? make sense? and in that case, i think i was pretty damn "easy"! back in my younger days! i was a little ho!

Of course not. Sleeping or not sleeping with a guy has little to do with it. You're just a pain in the ass because you're a calculative bore. By the way, let's say you're really NOT a pain in the ass and you know it. For 10 seconds, let's just pretend . . would you throw a hissy fit and answer my attempt-at-humor post like this?

You don't see the irony here? LOL . . ^This is what makes you a pain in the ass. Look, not everybody has to think you're a champ. (By the way, it seems that I'm the only guy who hasn't lied to you.)

If so, you might reconsider his offer. You won't find many like him. *By the way, very few guys will tell you to your face that you're a pain in the ass. Please refer to the translations in my previous post.

i'm sure your post was an attempt at humor. since i don't know you, your style of humor, and since this is all written, you TOTALLY got me, there. Most people realize humor doesn't translate while in text form between strangers.

I still don't think i'm a pain in the ass. sorry. I'm sticking with that. and the sex has everything to do with it, since that's the whole reason he was there. the only way i'd be a pain in the ass is if i like made all these ridiculous demands and acted like a dictator or something. I didn't do any of that shit. i was easy going.
again, i am not sure why you pulled this thread out after it was finished just to say i'm a pain, and it was also completely off-topic. you still haven't really answered the question about how i am calculative. Do i plot and scheme? no i don't think so.

and explain why after i posted that message the guy in question came up to me to chat with me? i must be a big pain in the butt for him, huh? that he comes and talks to me?

You'll figure this out at about age 32 or so when the last few will stop coming around to chat with you. Good luck and have fun.

ok  i guess you're implying that you agree with him.

I'm still waiting to hear the evidentiary proof behind how i have a "calculative" personality, or how asking "why would a guy say "we went too far" after fooling around?" makes me a pain in the ass. I'm sorry I guess I'm missing something here. I guess some people don't like to think about it when people tell them things. I had simply wanted to know what he meant so i could take the right course of action. At this point it doesnt even matter, but I was conflused.
I do understand that I might be strange for thinking of ALL the possibilities before jumping to conclusions, but I don't think that's a bad quality, maybe it's inefficient, but I do have slight aspergers so i guess if i come off like a pain in the ass that has a lot to do with it

but i guess the take-away from this is if you're with a girl, don't tell her it went too far. i was a little insulted by that, because obviously it was ambiguous. Just don't say it!

You weren't insulted by ambiguity. You were insulted because they think you're a pain in the ass and you know it. If a guy likes you, the 'ambiguity' would have been, "Let's take our time. . ." Why do you get so huffy when you're told by others that you're not likable when you work so hard to be unlikable? I'll stop picking on you and offer 2 strategies to improve your situation:

1. Focus on your outer appearance. I mean REALLY focus. Get the best make up, clothes, hair . . . work out. Through this path, your future boyfriend could be having a beer with his buddies and everybody will talk about how much of a pain in the ass you are. The discussion will end when one guy goes, "But at least she's a decent piece of ass!" - This will end around age 30 to 32.

2. Focus less on convincing others that you're not a pain in the ass and focus more on being content with everything here and now. Read this: --------- --------- ------, -------- ------- ---------. ----------, ---------- ------- ------- -------? ------- ------ ------. --------!

Any thoughts? Exactly. Not everything needs to be solved. Not everything needs to be understood. Not everybody has a negative opinion for you which means not everybody has a positive opinion for you. You should consider printing out a page of dots and reading it for a few minutes a day. Good luck and have fun.

When I was the AFC of the village I had a gf like you. It was an impossible relationship- I don't want to have this experience again. I don't know how to express what was wrong so you can understand...it's just that the relationship wasn't constructive, it was more of a conflictual attitude.
The reason why you're like my gf is you use advices to strengthen your old patterns instead of letting go of then. So if your bf says "stop smoking in the house", you can either say you will do your best or you can go like "why, what is wrong with smoking? you want to turn me into how i'm not !".

Try this experiment for 1 week-don't go against anybody, don't fucking argue with somebody, don't try to defend your identity("whatever , i am better than her"). Oh, and not even in your thought. If somebody calls you a bitch for no reason just say "sorry" and keep walking, don't get in a debate on it. AFC Adam has some great tips on this, you should check out his "questions for afc adam" topic. Just reading his posts is enough to grasp the mindset, he doesn't even have to speak about it. One advice that helped me was : when you talk with somebody, your reply starts with "yes and...".
Everything will become more calm after you do this.

he has a point... nobody is wrong or right, the question is can you learn something from it yes or no ? im mature and not taking sides , we are all adults.

lol ! ... im not confronting someone directly about certain behaviours, because they never agree unless they are really seeking help for themselfs regarding personality / mental health .
People who don't want to change won't change no matter how direct you are, most of time it's a waste of time. Of course i see red flags but this doesn't mean i have to point em out.

im still amused by this thread
