The girl explicitly told you not to contact her. There's no 'gaming' around that. Quit wasting your time, take a hint, and move on. It's not even a hint. She's telling you to leave her alone.

Men's egos are their downfall when the writing is written all over the wall. Women don't lie; men don't listen.

The choices she has made reflect her personality. You're grown up enough to make your own choices but I'm with those that think it's a bad idea.

Her good qualities that I'm aware of so far are that she is compliant, interested, possibly easy and has a smile. And that's a list of positives?

Anyway as for maintaining contact, I would guess that by now she doesn't have your number and in a month there's a good chance she won't remember you.

In better circumstances I would be tempted to send another text in a week or so and then remove her number. 'The purple unicorn keeps telling me to text you' (too much?!). Pushing too hard will make the hill you're climbing exponentially steeper in any circumstance I can think of that involves text as primary contact.
