Does cold approaching on a small town community college campus really work? The college i go to has a small population. There's hardly anyone ever on campus. So if I see a beautiful specimen all in her lonesome, wouldn't it be weird to approach? In larger campuses with lots of people approaching people would be more normal, you just kind of bump into people anyway. At my college however, I can't help but feel like a creep when I attempt to approach. If all I see is one girl on the campus and theres no one else around wouldn't she feel unsafe or uncomfortable if I came up to her? Should I just go for the mall instead? Please help this AFC .

Why would that be weird?
Something I do on occasions is to pretend I have a phone call and I pretend to be talking to a girl on the phone who wants me to go out with her. And I tactfully reject her. I banter with the "girl".

Obviously this has to happen so that your target can hear you! At least part of your "conversation" with the non existent girl.. This way she can hear you have women in your life, also can hear your voice - that you are not a creep or jerk. Also if you put into your "fake conversation" some jokes she can hear that you are funny.

Then you can open her like "Hey, how would you say gently to a girl that's after you that you are not interested? But still want to be her friend."
or something similar..
