Perfect example of a good looking guy vs a fat guy. http://www.hulu.com/watch/207907/keys-t ... pisode,1,0

I don't even want to get started on the good looking dude and his TERRIBLE game. GARBAGE!!! Bottom line, he only got them talking because of his looks.

Fat guy on the other hand actually had everyone of his girls engaged. Like genuinely engaged in conversation. His game was on point up until he tried to close with the first 2. In the end, he won the game.

So, do looks matter.. Yes, but only until you open your mouth!

What happens when you got a good looking guy with average game
vs
An average looking guy with average game
The good looking dude comes out on top 90% of the time.

Your video isn't saying much. Theres one guy with terrible game and one with good. That doesn't apply to all good looking men and bad looking men, but rather just to those two individuals.

While it is still possible for you to hook up with women when you're not good looking; it never hurts to get in shape, be groomed, dress good, etc.

You are absolutely right. I'm not saying when you go out, you shouldn't dress well, your hair is presentable, smell nice and all that other stuff that deals with grooming. What I am saying is that LOOKS, as in your physical features, have very little to do with gaming.

I'm an average looking guy. Put me against a model looking guy with no game and I'll win. Put me against a model looking guy with average game and I'll still win. Looks only take you so far. Once you open your mouth, looks go out the door.

Now this may sound a little cheesy, or like a bad validation song, but carry yourself the way you want to carry yourself. If you look in the mirror and say to yourself that you think you should lose a few pounds, then do what you need to do to achieve that goal. Do not be defined by what you see in magazines or on tv. They make their money off their looks, and can afford to do nothing but stay in the gym all week. It's all about how you carry yourself and what you think of yourself. I've seen some pretty big guys with all the confidence in the world pull beautiful women.

All humans are visual creatures, meaning we see first and if it's pleasing to the eye, then it's good for me. The part that sets women apart from this is their emotions. Once you're able to connect with that, the visual part goes away. This video proves that.

Game on fellas!

I'm glad to see the realistic responses in this thread. I knew I liked this forum!

Personally, I'm not going to be mistaken for Michael Moore, but I am 6'2" 250lbs--again, I got here mostly from drinking beer when I go out. When I first started going out at night and trying to get ass a few years ago I was a chubby 225lbs. I lacked confidence in my appearance then, but I got a lot more attention from women than I do now. So that's been my experience. Last summer I dropped down to about 242 and women were a lot more responsive.

I'm not just accepting this as a fact of life. My goal is to be 230 by the end of the summer. Unfortunately my gym is closed for remodeling for the next three weeks!

You think it has nothing to do with the confidence you have in yourself. The fact that you know that you have lost weight makes you feel better about yourself, which is projected through to the girls you speak with?

For instance, a good looking guy could go out, but if he's in a unhappy mood, he won't be able to pick up women. The fact that you feel good about yourself makes you a better person.

agreed, losing weight will give you more confidence because you can see those changes. Confidence = better game because you know you have something "going for you". When a girl compliments you it's even better!

There's a lot of things that can be done with clothes to downplay excess weight. A lot of the elements of classical men's style are designed to conceal weight elegantly. Sport coats in general are designed to be very slimming. Some other concepts such a vertical stripes and color matching can be slimming. Wearing socks that match your pants creates the illusion of height (thus downplaying girth). There are a number of tricks like thus. Plus, developing a wardrobe that complements your body will make you look like a class act. It's win-win.

An overweight guy with his shirt popping out of his pants, his buttons stretched to breaking, and a belt that doesn't prevent plumber's crack is going to appear a lot fatter than the same guy in a fitted suit.

Exercise is another key element. I'm not talking about losing weight. I'm just talking about exercising regularly. You can eat whatever you want, but most likely as you exercise more you'll start watching what you eat too. Exercise builds confidence. It also creates high value. As a side effect, you might even lose some weight. What's really important though, is that you'll feel better about yourself. I exercise not to lose weight nor to get fit, but because it helps me deal with depression. There's a lot of powerful chemicals that are released into your brain when you exercise.

I think it really is a matter of confidence, though. You might not have realized your confidence dropping as you gained wait, but it's actually a natural chemical reaction that occurs in our body. Excess weight creates lethargy. It slows us down and it takes more energy for us to do everyday things. It's only natural for this to affect our emotional state.

This is so true. I am reasonably happy with where I am physically, but I go to the gym every day because it makes me wake up the next morning so much more energized
I've also worked out to the point where I convinced myself I was a turtle so you know those chemicals are good stuff.

yeah, if losing 8 pounds made girls more responsive, then it's not your weight that is the problem, it's your confidence and demeanor. 8 pounds ain't shit.

I lost more than 8 pounds. I had ballooned up to 270, then I slimmed down to 242. At 270 I was not getting nearly as much attention from women as I did once I hit the 245ish range, and still wasn't getting as much as I did at 225-235. Unfortunately, I had NO game at 225--NONE--but I'd have girls opening me and throwing themselves at me fairly regularly. I haven't gotten that in a long time, even though my game is much better.

A few pounds here and there can make a significant difference in your appearance depending on how your body stores fat. Seriously.

Again, this is NOT something I really picked up on until recently. I wasn't looking around and thinking "oh no! I'm too fat to get that girl!"

i was quoting your words...

you said "i am 250 now. last summer i dropped down to 242. (that's 8 pounds) and I QUOTE "and women were a lot more responsive"

i am 6'4" and just about your size. i've ranged between 210 and 280. sound familiar? with your response, you seemed to think i didn't read what you said. but i did. in case you were confused about where i got the "8 pounds", i hope i explained that.

i guess all you need to do is drop 8 pounds and the women will be all over you again, lol...unless it's got more to do with frame of mind.

Looks definitely don't matter! Before I started pickup a lo of girls I was talking to would get pulled away by guys who were less physically "attractive" than me. Weight doesn't matter, game does.

I agree. I think it's downplayed too much.

I have a friend that's a fitness model. He's an Abercrombie model, been on several covers of Men's Health, and had numerous roles in major Hollywood movies. I'm sure you've seen him, but I don't want to say his name. I went to Cabo with him and a group of people one weekend, and I kid you not he fucked 6 girls before 3 PM in one day. He would take one up to his room then come back down to the pool and grab another. It was like there was a line waiting for him. My old roommate lived with him for awhile too. One day on his way home in LA on the 405 in gridlock somehow he made the sparks fly in traffic. He motioned to a girl to pull off and he fucked her in the back of his truck and sent her on her way.

He's hard to even talk to because he's so narcissistic, but my point is looks do get you places.
It sounds more like looks plays smaller part than him being famous :)

"weight" doesn't mean shit. I've seen 140lb guys kick ass and I've seen 250lb guys kick ass. I've seen 175lb guys go down in flames and I've seen 6'2" 200lb guys go down in flames.

What matters is body fat %, muscle tone, posture and general shape etc.

If a guy has a bodyfat % over 25% that is a form of pathology and will always detract from his attractiveness. To put it in simpler terms obesity is a disease state and disease is always unattractive. IF you have a big growth hanging off of you it will detract from your level of attractiveness. Think of excess body fat as a diseased growth.

Likewise if you are under 8 or so body fat % it will be a diseased state (yes body builders are in a diseased, nonsustainable state when they are on stage in a competition) and it will be unattractive.

If you can get your body fat % into a healthy range ( roughly 10-22% ) it will always be more attractive than if you are outside of that range.

Muscle development and posture will play huge roles too. You don't have to be hypertrophied and bulging but a visable, developed musculature is always more attractive than someone with no visable muscle tone.

Here is a simple formula that is 100% on the money -

health and vitality = attractive

disease and sloth - unattractive

Obesity is a diseased state. men do not find obese women attractive and women do not find obese men attractive.

Do obese women still get fucked? Yes. men still fuck them for reasons other than them being physically attractive.

Do obese men still get fucked? Yes. women still fuck them for reasons other than them being physically attractive.
