In regards to attendants and workers - how do we open them?

There is this girl at Costa who I find hot. She is very very shy but damn beautiful. Doesnt speak to much English. I saw her today she served me, no one in the queue and my mind went blank. A few minutes later she was on her break sitting down eating on her own near me... I did nothing as my mind went blank as to what to say

How would i open her? I think it would have to be something simple and flirty (although it could go over her head due to the English) She just seems very shy and not to confident.

Here is a coffee shop gambit that I have perfected over the past month. It has been a high yield routine and I am still working on it.

Sit down next to her and...

have a 10 sec awkward silence

You: So I think this is going pretty well...

Her: response

You: I mean our date...

Her: I was just sitting here.

You: Yes! and now you are on a date!!! how cool is that.

Her: giggles and all that

You: Actually this is really just a practice date. I have a date later this week and I needed a refresher. I usually don't do coffee dates. Do you have any tips?

Hopefully at this point she has bit and you can just start baiting her to invest. When you hit a point when she is really selling herself to you then you can just ask a pointed qualifier like "I think my real date is going to have a hard time living up to this practice date. What is it about you that is keeping me so interested?". If she answers then give her a statement of interest and either #close or, if plausible, begin 3d escalation.

Seems ok to do. The thing is she is a girl (most probably new to this country) and could feel threatened by me just turning up on her table.

I know she is working today as I walked past the place ont he way to work. I will get my afternoon coffee and may chat to her then (Hopefully).

A lot of times shy people are very impressed by people who are not shy. It leaves them in awe. Just make sure you don't misread a lack of IOIs for disinterest. Sometimes shy girls are extremely hard to read. Do NOT try to flip any preselection switches... learned that one the hard way on a herd.
