I would presume that once she concedes, ie looks away/down first, then its your invitation to look away then.

As a second point to this post, in my one-itis/friend zone situation that im making leaps and bounds with, thanks to pua, at the moment, she is holding eye contcat with me forever, i swear its more than 8 seconds, and its worse when she doesn't smile, i don't know quite what to do when she basically stares into my eyes for so long, i know strong eye contact is good but this seems too long, or is it just that shes really that into me?

the issue i have is i get nervous when people stare into my eyes, so i suppose another question is how intent should to eye contact be

If you have a problem with eye contact, just look at the part of the nose between the eyes, you dont have a feeling of eye contact and for the other person it seems just normal.. :)

a wink and a smile done in a playful way is good to break the seriousness of the stare but then keep the eye contact.

See how much you have eye contact with your friends and then add little bit more to that and if you can do playfull things while look girl in eyes it is cool.

If u lakc confidense just looks every girl you walk past in the eyes so you can keep training that even when you are not sarging.

another technique i learned from psychology was to just look at one eye,

i think ill try to add a wink/smile in.

its all very new only been into this for a week or two

Well looking at one eye is kinda eye contact, what i suggested is a tehnique that doesnt give YOU the feeling of eye contant = avoid feeling nervous etc..
