So I've been working on an opener which is based in fact so hopefully it comes off as natural and not canned:
So hopefully this shows alpha, sociability, caring for friends and hooks her with the relationship bit? Or does it sound like my friend is a total loser? (And myself by association?)

How do I root this into 'needing a female opinion', or would it be better to use on a larger/mixed set?

Sounds really close to the Hiroshima Opener. Someone just made a post about it if you're unfamiliar with it.

I'm all about taking an opener and making it my own. Tailoring it to fit my needs and personality. So I'm not going to say it's a bad opener. Play around with it, test it and see what happens.

After you get an opinion, or however you plan on doing it, you could even take a little bit from the Hiroshima Opener. Have the girl or set take a pic with you and "text" it to your friend.

I have used a little similar opener once when my friend didnt show up exsept my continuanse was that there is noway any girl would ever be able to do that to me. I cant really remember how it exsactly went but it was pretty close to that.

I had 20min talk with girl and left because it was my second night sargin ever and I was just trying to beat aa back then.

I don't really like it, it almost seems like your DLV in there. What kind of friend talks bad about his friend?

In my opinion tweak it so it's not about his ex, make it like a prestigious job or something that DHV's him which will also DHV you. It's exactly like matador said even though your not with a wing knowing people with something spectacular about them just makes you that much more spectacular as well.

I think the first part is quite solid. I can see heaps of HB8's 9's and 10s relating to the fact a friend won't come out to party. However I would say change how you root the opener. Possibly mention he'd rather stay home with his hot gf or ex. Leave out "He does this all the time" and "he's such a hermit." Probably a bad move to be annoyed by your friends... Just act upbeat in delivery, keep eye contact and have confident body language and I can see this working well. After their opinions just cut the thread, move into another opener or fluff.

A possibility could be:


PUA: Hey... Actually I probably shouldn't even be talking to you, this is supposed to be a guys night out... our friend just texted and said he wasn't coming out AGAIN! What should I say to him to get him to drag his ass out and PARTY?

HB:

PUA: (Time constraint)...He used to be such a party animal.. We used to go out all the time and have massive parties.. I mean he recently broke up with his hot gf but that should be more of a reason to be here. Has this ever happened to you girls?
