First you don't need to try to impress her by looking like you're having "more fun", that's a needy behavior, have fun for yourself or don't.

Mostly what i do is go to the girl and just take them off, like i do with my friends. At the beginning she is shocked (impressed) of me, but you can easily turn her shock at conversation.
