So there's this girl in my dorm I've been talking to a lot lately. We've been flirting a lot, and I wanted to escalate things, but I don't really know where I should go from here after this conversation:

I've been negging her a lot, and making fun of the fact she gets infatuated with guys really easily. And then she's asked me about girls I've been into and I told her something along the lines of, "No one worth my time". She asked me while we were talking whether I liked anybody we knew.

The point at which I got a bit worried about getting friend zone was this: She gets a bit personal, saying that it sucks liking someone, especially when "it's a good friend of mine". And we keep talking about how she got friend zoned by this one guy she liked last semester. I tell her that every guy, even if they don't want to admit, wants to some degree to get with a girl, even if its just for image sake, and trying to look in front of women. And she disagrees saying that there are guys that just aren't interested in her except as a friend and says quote, "and I don't think you'd ever try to get with me." Focus on EVER.

Is she testing the waters, or am I on the fast track to getting friend zoned? And if its salvageable, what should I do from here.

I'm pretty positive you're very safe right now, out of waters harm. She's showing you some IOIs, take them as granted and give her some IOIs back, you can't ALWAYS neg a girl, especially since you mentioned you negged her a lot... it IS safe to show IOIs sometimes, and be yourself. Looks like she's speaking in third person and giving you a hint she is having a thing for you, especially if she's asking you these personal questions. You haven't tried telling her you like her, I'd suggest you step forward and kino her before it's too late, take the kino slow if you haven't done so, so she won't feel creeped out, and do some personality quizzes on her, stuff that she'll find fun and will gain more IOIs, then move in for a kiss... see where it goes from there, if she doesn't comply, punish her, push pull method. Try not to over analyze things, I'm pretty sure you're in good standing.
