Hey guys,
So ive been seeing this girl, going out and hooking up, but not official or anything. I didnt even get it in yet, but i realized that i didnt really like her as much as i thought i did yet still dabbled with her just to make sure. I admit it, i dug myself into a hole, now this girl is lovesick for me and talks to all her friends at our school (shes extremely popular and knows everyone). I tryed not to be "that" guy, shallow and a douche, but it is what it is and i just dont want to be with her anymore. I've been trying to break it off with her but I keep thinking about how sad shes gonna be when i tell her. I know shes gonna bad mouth me to everyone we know...this is what im afraid of. How can i end it with a girl who likes me soo much and as far as she knows, i reciprocate and ending things will deff be out of the blue in her point of view, how can i end things with her and salvage my reputation at the same time.

P.s. I know this will probably make things worse off, but my friends tell me that i should bang her before i cut her loose. I do want to bang her...If i can do this, end it with her, and come out on top-that will be ideal. I dont know if thats possible.

Dude, i know how you feel. But let me tell you, its a dead end. One way or the other, she'll ruin your reputation, so why don't you bang her and then call it off.
Its psychology, fundamental attribution error, people always blame other's personality rather then the situation. They try to make themselves feel better by blaming others.

But here are the choices: stay with her and save your rep. or call it off and let her ruin your social circle(thats if she really hates u after you call it off, happens quite often). I dont see a easy way out, unless she falls out of "love" with you.

Yes I am in highschool. Damn, i really wish it wouldnt have to go down like that ^. What if i used a fake ass excuse (parents, grades, etc..,) or would that be obvious to her as a cop out. What is the best way to let someone down gently, or is it regardless of what you say she will still hate you in the end?

I thought the goal here is to be better than the average. Why consider lying to her?

If you can't be honest and dignified then you're in the wrong game. Being dishonest will last a lot longer than her hatred for you.

I think you're more invested in this relationship than I am and the longer it goes on the more you are going to get hurt. I don't want to hurt you so I think we need to call it off.

No lies, no dramas. You dug the hole, you'll have to climb out if necessary.

In the long term, your 'rep' at school is irrelevant and you will be more respected for being honest and not dragging this into the gutter.

The lying about your grades or parents actually could hurt you're reputation, so just tell her how you feel.. being honest will not give you a bad rep. And about the banging her. If she really talks to anyone, people will know you as the guy who dumped her right after sex.

She won't find it funny, but you seem determined to wuss out.
