In my understanding of the material I've read and my admittedly limited experience, it seems to me that the canned routines and stories etc aren't the secret to pick up. It's the change in body language, the increased confidence, the improvement of verbal communication etc. that occurs as a result of using the canned material. You develop your own style, routine, etc and figure out what works and doesn't work for you.

That's very true. I suppose we don't really have much to worry about except maybe losing some canned shit. Becoming a player in the game is a life style change. And almost all men aren't trying to make that kind of commitment.

Most men won't even make the commitment to hit the gym 3 times a week.

Im gonna feel like such a hipster when it goes mainstream.

People are gonna be like "I am a PUA bitches"

And ill be like "I was a PUA before it went mainstream"

then shits gonna go down

I've got 99 problems but...

Let's be honest, the only guys that it's really going to hurt are the guys who start out.

When I first heard about the PUA scene, I was clueless. I had about a 50% success rate with girls, and that was only the ones who hit on me. Looking back, any pick-up attempt I made was terrible.

Last year I found out about being a PUA though and there's suddenly a step by step model that I can use to pick up girls. I can use a line that's know to work: "hey, did you see this fight outside?". That gave me confidence, knowing that I'd have some things to say to girls.

I'm now quite happy flying purely on my natural game. See my first field report to see how happy I was at my first # close using routines learnt from 'The Game'. Now I've given up collecting numbers; getting a number is not success.

When we start out, we need canned routines just to see how it's done. It's like there's someone there holding our hands through the pick-up attempt. Who here didn't use a canned routine to test the water? Once we've got the hang of how to do it, we develop our own stuff and all go natural to some extent.

There's not a chance in hell that I'd be where I am now if the first time I'd asked a girl if she'd seen the fight outside, she shot me down for being like Mystery. That is about all that really worries me about a PUA movie; taking the first steps away from nice guys who just need something to help them get their feet wet.

Who cares if The pua community is here, theres enough women to go around....
