Anyone heard about this? Kind of upsets me. Does anyone know anything about this shitty movie being produced? Or the director who is producing it?

I agree 100% on that. The PUA community used to be an underground one. What happened? Mystery hosts his own TV show about it. More and more guys are finding out about PUA. What next? The girls will know what's coming and how to respond to this, and we'll need a new method. Making a movie out of PUA is the last thing we need. But that's just my opinion.

if you look beneath the surface of pick up and figure out is more then lines and routines, you will have nothing to worry about.

I absolutely hate this! I hope it never sees the light of day! Like someone else said, PUA use to be underground. Mystery had his VH1 special, but for some reason I don't think any women actually watched that show. Other wise they'd know exactly what I was up to when I opened them and call me on it.

A movie coming out will definitely shine a light on the community. Even if it does bomb, news crews, talk shows and whoever else will be talking about it before it even comes out.

When The Game came out and Neil was out promoting his book on all these shows, I thought the secret would be out. Lucky for us, not many women, or at least the women in my area went out and read the book. I think it may be a different story with this movie though.

My hope is that they don't go into too many details about the actual process behind PUA and stick more towards the story of "The Game", which is a guy who was a nerd and became really good at picking up women.

Ok back to the date, it is 11 years ago! and 'the game' came out mainstream around 2003 or maybe 2004. I think its about time the whole community get to the next stage :)

That is because people use canned routines and openers. If you just take the concept of PUA and intergrate it into your own personality, create your own style and reality, girls won't be able to sniff it out even if they have read the books.

Well said, thank you. Just work on actually becoming a guy that attracts women instead of pretending to be and you wont have to worry about the communities "secrets" from going mainstream, which has already happend anyway.

What's worse (and kind of funny at the same time) is that I imagine a lot of women will see this movie and go "Wait a second, that guy I've been dating said exactly that on our date!" or "Hey that's the line my boyfriend used on me when we first met!"
