So you guys, I just signed up...I'm not 100% new to the game. I always use DHVs and Negs. I'm always confident and usually dont come off as the AFC, but just looking to build skills...hence joining the forum.
Anywho, I want to preface this ex girlfriend opener. My ex and I broke up about 7 weeks ago, and she deleted me from FB immediately. About 3 weeks ago, I friended her with a message attached saying, "because there's no reason to burn bridges. I hope all is well
" I think it shows confidence and maturity.
Anyways, there's been no contact and there's a strong possibility she may have moved on, as I am as well, so it's not like I want to jump back in a relationship. I do however just want to talk as she was a very important person in my life at one time.
I was thinking of texting her, "
I just saw something that reminded me of you." There's no way she wouldn't be interested to know what it was and will eventually ask. When she does, I just in a one sentence answer say what that was, which I'll bring up a joke from when we went on vacation together and leave it at that and no indication that I want to continue conversing.
Good idea? Or will it make me look desperate?
