The past couple times I've been out I keep meeting girls with boyfriends. I'm not down with trying to break up relationships or anything like that. What do you guys think about asking if they have a boyfriend?

Sometimes you'll be having a conversation with a chick, things are going well. You think that you'll at least get her number and then out of nowhere she says she as a bf...I don't know about you guys but for me it just kills the conversation/attraction/tension. I'll just think to myself fuuu not again. I mean I could use a witty comeback but I really don't see a point in continuing the interaction.

I'm wondering if by asking "do you have a bf", would I kill the tension? I just don't feel like wasting time with chicks already in relationships.

What do you guys think about this? I'll probably try it out this weekend.
