I'm wondering if anyone can give me some advice on this..

I've known this girl for about 4 years now through a part part time job. The first year was an acquaintance, the second and third I was out of the country and the fourth, since september we have actually gotten to know each other. She gave me alot of Interest in the few days that we saw each other. She went of of country for 6 weeks, came back in january and still showed interest.

It wasnt until mid Feb that I actually started to like her and I asked her out. It turns out that she has a secret long distance boyfriend that she didnt tell anyone about, and that they had been going out for a few months prior.

She said she was surprised and that she didnt know that I liked her, and that she considered me a good friend. A week later we were hanging out at her place and it seemed like her Interest level rose. I ended up coming on too strong and she flaked. She said she needed time to deal with how she was feeling and that she still had a boyfriend.

I gave her space, but I still saw her about once a week due to the partpart time job. She was distant from me for a few weeks. Were good now but it seems shes dropped me down to the level of friendly acquaintance.

I should be seeing her again this week and at a house party on the weekend (its her birthday/other stuff, not sure if bf is comin out, but it was terribly nice of him if he didnt). We have common friends, they also dont agree with long distance relationships, and they dont know I asked her out.


As you can tell i need a lot of work, but this isnt the first time ive had a girl leave another guy for me (I also didnt screw it up).


Since I messed this up and got bumped down a few levels, can I rebuild her interest level again but a lot stronger. Im guessing she will have alot more walls. How useful would it be to get the help of her girl friends to side with me. Besides coming on too strong that should be the only thing that attributes needy to myself. I dropped the prospect of me getting a job out of state indirectly to other people and when they brought it up, she looked mad and kind of hurt.
