| Hey guys new to the forum here and the PUA lifestyle. Like many, I had just got done reading Neil Strauss' 'The Game,' and it inspired me to join this community for a fun, new exciting life style. I haven't necessarily had a lot of trouble with women, I was just looking to improve skill. I believe my main weakness is opening, and small talking. Anyway, I was out last night at a dance club, dead, and decided to practice some routines for my upcoming trip to Vegas.
I approach a two set of 23-25 year old TALL women. I wasn't necessarily attracted, just wanted to try the jealous girlfriend opener routine I learned from Style.
Me: Hey ladies, do you mind if I can get your opinion on something? I need a girls' perspective on this.
Tall Girls: Sure
Me: My friend over there *me pointing randomly to one of my friends* has this girlfriend who he just started dating after getting out of another relationship about 3 months ago, however, he still friends with his ex, not in a sexual way, but just friends, do you think it's wrong of him?
Tall Girls both agree that they would not appreciate it too much because he was in a relationship with this "girl" just 3 months ago.
Then I started realizing to myself that I can't really say the 'he still keeps friendly pictures of her in a shoe box in his closet' because they just already they don't like boyfriend being friends with the girl.
I say it anyways.
I tell them the girlfriend wants to burn the pictures. One of the girls says 'Yeah that would be a great way to do it' with a mischievous smile. I told her that she sounds like she's the crazy girlfriend type, and she gets playfully offended.
Then I freeze. Don't know what to say after that or small talk anymore. What does everyone normally do after the opener? What's a good thing to say afterward when I'm not getting a great response from the opener.
Oh I forgot to mention another weakness. I over analyze and over think situations wayyyy too much.
Thank you for reading, and would appreciate responses! Look forward to hearing and sharing stories from you all!
