Hi to all PUAs, WIP PUAs and other posters.

I'm a 21 year old post-grad in my first year of work; having subsequently gone from opening (& occasionally closing) girls my age, I have now entered a whole new world where I am younger than all the women in my workplace, needless to say I find myself attracted to these maturer, attractive women.

I get on great with most women, on an opening level, I am fortunate to be tall, relatively handsome and in good physical shape, I can make people laugh, carry intellectual conversations, and I can turn a conversation into something that relates to the person I'm talking with (everybody loves talking about themselves right?), but I have identified 1 major sticking point:

1) Beating the 'friend' plateau - I befriend these women, still continually notice IOIs (from both the ones I am attracted to and not attracted to), but fail to make a noticeable move back in their direction. Instead I coast along as the friendly, younger guy. I can never find the right response and normally end up blurting out something funny/whacky or self-negging (to express modesty). I need to learn and practice ways of holding conversations that can lead to a close opportunity (conversations that are of a nature of Picking Up, as opposed to friendly banter).

I need to understand where the separation is in PU conversation and friendly banter, so I can break through this painful glass ceiling.
