Do you think its 100% possible for a women to stay faithful in a relationship? I think there will always be a time when they will have the opportunity to get something on and no one would ever know either. And you know how players roll

I'm also giving this a lot of thought, have just entered my first actual "relationship" with a girl whos been around a fair bit, I keep thinking it'll only be a matter of time, the way she talks about cheating she really looks down on it, but at the same time i know how much she LOVES sex and how drunk she gets. Dont let it show but im not gonna be surprised when it happens. I dont really believe anyone can stay 100% faithful, man or woman.

I think it depends on how one defines being 100% faithful, actually. Even when one is in a long-term relationship, it's normal to develop crushes on other people, or see someone attractive and think, "wow, (s)he is really hot." That said, nothing about those impulses necessarily entails that they be acted upon.

Primal instinct is always there.

A lot of my guy friends with long-term-relationships have girlfriends who continually shoot me IOI's and attempt to further our relationship, in-front of their boyfriend, with massively flirty talk and behavior.

I try to play it off as best I can without destroying a could-be-future-relationship on my part, or ruining the friendship with my friends, and this usually comes in the form of flirting back, but in a kinda 'stop flirting with me' way, but that usually ends up making girls want you more...

It's nomal and natural to feel attraction for someone else. It's also normal for people in a relationship to get bored or to get mad at each other or to fantasize about other people.

But to actually take your pants off and spread your legs is still a conscious decision.

Sure we all have some basic primal instincts but what makes us human is that we have a cerebrum and we can make conscious decisions even if our heart and our hormones are telling us to do something else.

YES. Both men and women can be faithfull if they choose to be. People may not choose attraction and they may not choose horniness but people choose whether to be faithfull or not.

Cheating is a character flaw and bad behavior, it is not some uncontrolable force that comes over someone. IF some gal does not want to cheat on her partner she won't no matter how beta and pathetic her looser is and no matter how hot and alpha her potential suitor is.

Likewise if someone does want to cheat and they choose to they will no matter how perfect her partner is and no matter how pathetic her suitor is.

Most people do not cheat on the partners and everyone has a world of opportunities out there. Some people have more opportunity than others and some people have lesser character than others but cheating is not preordained.

Cheating is tittilating so it gets publicity. People who remain faithfull do not make the news and do not get on talk shows. It's just like Iraq, you never hear about the cars that do not explode.
