I did this with a girl, she poked me back, and when I did the "Hey, did you know it's not safe to poke strangers..." with only slightly modified grammar with the same breezy tone, not only did she not reply, she deleted me from her friends list!

What on Earth did I do wrong?

Did I come on too strong? Was I supposed to post this on her wall and not send it by PM?

Has this happened to anyone else?

I was thinking about leaving it for a few months, so she can forget who I am, and adding her again so I can start from the first step, or messaging her saying that I didn't mean to be rude, and that I just thought she looked beautiful, and wanted to get to know her better.

Maybe I should just move on to another girl though? I don't wanna come across as a creepy stalker.

I think the adding her again in a few weeks after she's forgotten about you is slightly stalkerish!! Just shoot her an quick apology and if she doesn't reply then move on to another.

The "can you help me with my Spanish" is a great opener, because it's true. One Spanish HB7 asked me out on a date after I asked her to help me. :p Unfortunately it was my last day in Spain, and didn't have the time to go with her for a coffee.

That just sounds so beta. You have no reason to be sorry about anything, and don't give crap about her looks (well you do but you should never compliment women on their looks when getting to know them). You just want to get to know her and bang her.

As for friending her again after that, I wouldn't do it. It conveys way too much interest and lower value if you friend her after she gave you bullshit by unfriending you. Throw a very disinterested sounding message, possibly somewhat of a neg, and see if she replies. Other than that, move to the next girl, which you should be doing all the time anyway.

Now what if the girls dont have the poke option..most of them take it off now.
