I don't know where this question belongs, so I'm just sticking it in here. Here's my story:

After going out with this girl for about a month, she's starting to get annoyed at my behavior. I'm always getting comments from her, such as, "Why are you such a jerk?" "You're such an asshole to me, why can't you be loving and sweet?" I'm up to the point where I don't know what to do anymore. My game style hasn't changed much from the pickup. I'm constantly using negs, DHV's and the lot. She's still attracted to me (from what her friends tell me) its just she can't tolerate when I make fun of her. Because I've got the girl, does that mean I'm meant to stop with the negs and pickup style behavior and turn more like an AFC now? If I keep going the way I'm going, we're probably going to break up soon.

its sort of a fine line, but theres a pretty clear distinction between witty, playful teasing in a relationship and just "negging" for the sake of "negging". It should be natural, otherwise it will subconsciously come off as forced.

No, you never want to return to AFC style behavior. But once you bag the girl you've got to become in sync with her, that doesn't mean behaving like an AFC though. It just means showing your interest in her and being a good dude. I really don't know how to describe it, just like the previous guy said, you need to find a balance. For the record, I don't really see a place for constant "negging" when you have already bagged the chick. It's kind of my understanding that negging (for the most part) is a pickup technique. But you've already picked her up. Now you just need to work on things that keep her interested.
