I was dancing with this girl last night right in the middle of the floor and so it wasn't really easy to just step out. We both had fedora's on and had passed each other earlier, and locked eyes and both pointed and said, "NICE HAT!" So, when I saw her on the floor, I came in from the side and then gave her a bit of a nod and wink and then pointed to her hat, then mine. So we switched hats and danced in front of each other and kept giving lots of EC and smiling. I knew she was having a good time and then after the song ended I told her to come for a drink with me and she said that she couldn't drink, so I told her I was just drinking coke myself and she should have one too. Then she told me that she was gonna keep dancing, so I left to get a drink and when I went back to the floor a while later she wasn't there.

I know I had to walk away after saying I wanted a drink, so that I didn't look AFC, but I'm trying to think of some better way to get a girl that you just met to leave the dance with you. If you suggest going for a smoke and she doesn't smoke, then its a DLV (I don't usually smoke, but I like going out for the air and because you can talk easy outside).

I would have negged her a bit for not drinking (ie "that's alright, let's see if they have some milk for you"). But yeah, I would dance with a girl for a couple of songs before trying to escort her away from the dance floor.

I also disagree that the dance floor is a trap, UNLESS you don't know how to dance, then it IS a trap. But, when you DO know some dance moves and SHOW THEM OFF, you GET IOI's from the girls just because of your dance moves. And, if you have another girl, i.e. pivot, with you, that you are dancing with while you show your moves off, and she can groove with you, ALL THE BETTER. I have taken girls that show me IOI's while I'm showing off dance moves and moved them to dancing with my girl that's with me. They are open to it because I'm not threatening to them, and at the same time, I can dance and grind with them a bit myself to get them warmed up. And, if a girl is REALLY into you, then you won't have to use the pivot as much. You can start having the girl dance and grind with you pretty much right away. I've actually had to hold the pivots hand one time to let her know I wasn't ignoring her and still wanted her around. I pulled her up behind me and she started dancing behind me while the other girl danced in front of me.

I'm not 100 percent sure what clubs or bars you guys go to, but I dont need to dance well or anything, there is basically no dancing going on in the clubs here, its just grinding, and you don't need to be a pro to know how to grind.

If there are girls dancin in front of you and continue to get closer, their obviously interested. When that happens, be a man and grab the girl u wanna dance with by the hand and put the other on her waist and dance. When the other friend gives her "The Look of Approval," your in. After dancin for a few songs wait for a good song. When it comes up, ask her if she has ever done a table top. She will probably say no then tell her your gonna put one hand on the ground and shes gonna put both of her legs to the outside of ur hips. then she'll probably ask u mean ride you, tell her hell yeah. i never got turned down and u probably wont either cause if shows ur different and plus, she will really like it cause its sexy, and ALL girls wanna feel sexy. Your suggestion of how to initiate the dance with a girl that's interested is good.

On your description of the table top though, from how I'm understanding it, sounds like you're lifting the girl up into the air. If that's what you mean, some guys actually aren't physically strong enough to do that. Ok, a lot of guys can't, lol. Even guys that look big can't at times. I can lift girls easier than some guys twice my size. Also, a lot of clubs won't allow something like that. I know these around here in my area won't.

i hear ya, but its not really lifting them, they basically stand on their own two feet and ride u while u have one hand on the ground and ur two feet holdin u up. sucks about the clubs around u, im from east central, girls get all sorts of hot and bothered when i do the table top with them.
