| I'm almost a complete newbie, so take this with a grain of salt but... I think you might be in the friend zone and she perceives you as just a friend. I know that's confusing since you're talking "like you're dating", but I've seen this happen - there are two people, guy and girl of course, in my social circle who talk to each other like "Why'd you say something like that, you're going to make a horrible parent for our kid!" and the the other will say something like "Look who's talking, I'll have to do all the cleaning around the house!". This is all playful, of course, but they're basically just friends and that's how they tease each other. Only in this case, they both realize they're just friends. The guy is dating another person all the while. If the case is similar here, the girl you talked with may think that you're being 100% playful too and not realize that you're trying to "hint" at a relationship between you two.
The 'dating' line might've been a bad call. It's, in general, a bad idea to talk about a relationship of any kind before you're clearly into each other or have made out etc.
Or it could be a shit test or something like that, if 1) you really did fit all the 'qualities' she listed down and 2) you actually did fit them, think she could've meant you and aren't just creating the impression of you fitting them in your head because you're interested in her and want her to want you too (has happened to me all too often). In that case she might've wanted to see if you' were really serious about her and wanted you to tell her that she'll find "someone" etc. More often than not, though, this kind of situation is only a telltale sign of a person being interested in a friend who's not. You may talk to each other like you're dating, but do you touch often? What kind of touching? What kind of body language does she use around you? These might tell more than verbal aspects...
